Loving What You Do

Have you ever wondered how you can earn a living, doing something you love to do?  When you are truly passionate about something, and you find a way to earn an income living your passion, you will never work another day in your life!

Tour Guides earn a living traveling, Oprah Winfrey earns a living talking to people, one woman loved watching soap operas and even figured out a way to earn a living watching soap operas by creating the Soap Opera Digest magazine!  It is possible to earn a living doing something you love when you have the belief in yourself to take the risk of reaching your goals!

You want to make the decision to live your life 100% and visualize what your life would be like when you are earning a living at the one thing you are most passionate about.  What kind of car will you drive? What color is your car?  How do you feel when you are driving that car? What kind of people will be in your life? What social situations are you most often involved in? Where will you live? What does your home look like?  Who lives with you?  What is the view outside your front window?  What does your day involve to live out your ideal income earning environment?  All of these details must be crystal clear in your mind to move you in the direction of your ideal lifestyle.  When all of these details are crystal clear in your mind and you live your life every day, holding on to these details, you will begin to see opportunities that will take you in the direction of your passion.

Stop asking “how” and merely concentrate on “what” and watch your path unfold before your eyes!

The only “how” you have to ask yourself is; “how badly do I want to love what I do every day of my life?”

Technology vs Science Fiction

A friend and I were recently watching Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry (released in 1971) and afterwards we talked about how much has changed since 1971.

With all of the technology regarding DNA and everyone being experts on crime (ever since CSI aired its first show!) we watched the movie and totally picked it apart whenever Dirty Harry would step into a crime scene and walk all over evidence!

Science has discovered so much in the last 40 years that it makes me wonder what will be common knowledge 40 years from now. What we once thought was futuristic science fiction created from the minds of movie producers, authors and comic books are now a reality.

Will we be able to clean up our planet, find another source for fuel, or find a way to beat the health crisis we now face? Every choice we make today can move us one step closer to our goals for the future or take us farther away from our goals. The most important concept to grasp is keeping an open mind. The technology of 2011 was thought to be pure science fiction in 1971 and yet the youth of today cannot imagine life without today’s technology!

Keeping an open mind is easy to do and it is easy not to do. Only you can decide how you are going to move into the future.
