About Cheryl:  Cheryl Krass is the owner of Alexemi Publishing, providing publishing assistance to indie authors. As the self-published author of The Mommy Orphanage, a children’s book about international adoption, she has a keen awareness of what it means to take charge to make dreams come true. With over 25 years experience in advertising and marketing, her favorite projects were those that allowed her to be on press; checking proofs, talking to the pressmen, and touring the offset machinery to learn all that she could. When her children were young she stepped away from the corporate marketing world to re-emerged in 2007 as an independent business owner with a Virtual Assistance practice called Equilibrium VA Services. As a VA (Virtual Assistant), Cheryl provided remote administrative and marketing support for communications professionals and entrepreneurs. She specialized in her Author’s Assistant services where she helped authors write and publish their books, which led to the development of her next business venture focused on publishing. In 2008 she founded Alexemi Publishing with The Mommy Orphanage as the cornerstone. Alexemi now provides virtual author assistance, self-publishing consulting, and publishing services. In 2009, she decided to supplement her virtual business with one in the “real world” that would allow her to get out and interact with women on a more personal level. She became an independent distributor for direct-sales jewelry company, Premier Designs High Fashion Jewelry, where she interacts with women one-on-one to help them instantly upgrade their images and feel their very best. Cheryl lives in a western suburb of Philadelphia with her husband, nineteen-year-old son, ten-year-old daughter, and a number of “furry” children.
